Description

Classic Minnesota kit, lake scene, designed by MH Designs, finished as wall quilt and/or pillow, 2012, from Bear Patch Quilting Co. Boat on lake tied up at the dock flanked by trees with hills in the background. Design is traced onto embroidery fabric and then stitched with stem/outline and lazy daisy stitches. Then you have a choice of framing it, making a pillow, or making a wall quilt. Included in the kit are fabrics for the embroidery, a fabric frame around the embroidery, and a backing. A fun project to do over the winter for the upcoming time at the lake. From the package - "Kit includes all fabric to make a pillow or top and binding of wall hanging. Includes pattern and floss. Need to purchase sewing thread. Request batting and backing for wall hanging." But I think there is enough backing fabric for the wall quilt too (18" x 44") although I am not much of a quilter so I could be wrong about that.
