Description

1960s vintage/new, in sealed original packaging, "Jewish Patchery" kit, by Ktav Publishing House, with 11 multi-colored fabric patches, a needle (trust it is there, but is obscured by instruction sheet,) instruction sheet, and 4 colors of sewing thread in red, green, yellow and blue. The sealed package, measuring 8"W x 15"L, made in Hong Kong, features folded fabric--probably cotton--printed with 11 individual patches (Mazel, Chai, L'Chaim, Jewish Power, Glick, and Shalom, among them) in a palette of red, yellow, blue and green. They are meant to be cut out and then sewn with the colorful thread included in the kit. The kit is in excellent pre-owned, vintage, new, unopened condition (the original price is marked in ink on the upper package, but is concealed in the images included.) A great artifact of Jewish popular culture, for Judaica collectors, hobbyists and for fun.
